I have lived in Dighton since I was born in 1962 and have permanent roots here.
I graduated from Dighton-Rehoboth Regional High School in 1980 and worked for G. Lopes Construction from 1977-1984. In 1984 I started my own trucking company, Pacheco Trucking, and in 1996 I started American Vinyl Graphics, a sign and lettering company. I began designing graphics for the City of Taunton’s Fire Department and have designed graphics for Dighton and Berkley Police cruisers, just to name a few. I design and build automobile car carriers and the custom hydraulic systems on them.
Owning my own businesses for the last 24 years has taught me that dealing with people in general, and customers specifically, require teamwork in order to be successful. I feel I have accomplished that for my own businesses and can accomplish that for you.
I still own my trucking company, which is now Pacheco Auto Transport, and American Vinyl Graphics. In addition, I serve as the Chairman of our By-Law Committee, and I am a member of our Finance Committee. My plan is to use the experience I have as a business owner and as a team worker to help our Water District be a winning team. I am looking forward to continue serving you as Dighton Water District Commissioner to the best of my ability.
Thank you, Paul Pacheco
